A Knight Gives Voice
With my Wonder Woman Shadow, I give voice and protection to the downtrodden. I stand guard as Sentinel, as Knight, as Defender, watching, waiting, warning the micro/macro bully to beware, to back off, to reform.
My skin tells the story, reaching beyond sotto voce. It announces my history with words inspiring bravery, compassion and zeal to be an Upstander rather than a bystander.
When my figure takes on a wearable form, it allows one to look in a mirror and see a new avatar, armed with empathy, and authentically giving a shout-out for the Other.
